How to compress or reduce PDF file size
Objective Build currently accepts files up to 250MB in size.
Some third-party applications include additional options to adjust the size and quality of the PDF.
There are a number of tools available to compress PDFs. However, keep in mind that higher compression will also reduce quality. This is not an issue for text, but does cause issues for plans and drawings.
Particularly for plans and drawings that must be provided at a high image resolution, we recommend using either the original drawing application or a tool such as Adobe Acrobat or Objective Trapeze.
There are a number of online tools for compressing PDFs such as Adobe Compress PDF, Smallpdf or PDFgear
For Mac users, you can also compress a PDF in Preview.
